Prior to joining Puralytics®, Rick has been involved in water treatment and water technology for nearly 25 years, with experience in segments including drinking water, stormwater, waste and process water and swimming pool and spa treatment. Previously, Rick was President of Muntech Products, a consumer goods company which grew revenue by over 3 times during his nearly two year tenure. Rick also led global sales and business development at the water technology start up HaloSource for nearly nine years.As Senior Vice President, Global Water Business, he led the growth stage of the business from $3 million in sales to a $16 million annual run rate upon his departure in 2012. Rick was an active participant on the Senior Leadership team of the company raising several rounds of venture funding, including participation in the three man roadshow team for a successful $85 million IPO on the AIM market in London in 2011 that was significantly oversubscribed. Mr. Lockett attended the University of Texas at Austin, studying business administration as a National Merit Scholar.

Bruce is a Co-Founder at Playground Global, LLC and serves as Managing Director of Playground Ventures, L.P. In more than three decades of tech industry experience, Bruce has made his mark as an engineer, entrepreneur, and investor. He is best known for his groundbreaking work in multimedia, as creator of QuickTime and co-founder of WebTV. As Chief Operating Officer at WebTV, Bruce was instrumental in the development and deployment of the world’s first consumer Internet appliance and service and was responsible for the growth and management of the business in excess of one million customers and $300 million in revenue. Prior to WebTV, Mr. Leak served senior management and engineering roles at Rocket Science Games and General Magic Inc. He began his career at Apple Computer, where he invented and brought to market QuickTime and 32-bit QuickDraw. He holds several technology patents. As an Angel investor, Mr. Leak has had five public exits from seed investments including: Danger (Microsoft), Android (Google), and Nest (Google). Mr. Leak is a graduate of Stanford University with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in electrical engineering.
Prior to founding Puralytics, Mr. Owen was the founder and CEO of Phoseon Technology, the world leader in UV LED photo-curing systems to the inks, coatings, and adhesives industry, growing the company to market leadership and remaining involved as a Director for 11 years.Mark has also held business development, marketing, and engineering management roles at Agilent Technologies, Electro Scientific Industries, and Tektronix. He has over 50 patents issued or pending, has published over 50 technical articles, and more than $1B in revenues have been derived from products involving his patents. Mr. Owen holds a Masters in Advanced Manufacturing Technology from the University of Limerick, Ireland and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from Oregon State University. Mark was elected as a Pivotal Leader in the NW Cleantech community in 2012, and inducted to the OSU Engineering Hall of Fame in 2015.
With a background in engineering, entrepreneurship and pastoring, Rob is the CEO of Healing Waters and he sees his role as the perfect synergy of his widely varied experiences. Over the course of his career he has logged hundreds of thousands of air miles visiting the world’s most water stressed regions to work with NGOs, mission teams and national governments on solutions to provide affordable, sustainable, and safe drinking water solutions. Rob feels blessed every day to be part of an amazing team that is passionately committed to seeing this crisis solved in our lifetime, so that children in every village have the opportunity to thrive, physically and spiritually, and live to pursue their God-given dreams and purpose. Rob maintains that his greatest “achievement” in life was convincing his wife Lorie to marry him almost 30 years ago, with a close second being his 3 beautiful children, Sarah, Marcus and Megan.
Carlos Perea is a serial entrepreneur with significant experience applying technology to opportunities in water. He acquired MIOX Corporation in 2006 and served as its CEO until 2014 and Chairman of the Board until the company was sold to a multinational corporation in 2016. MIOX developed a patented platform technology capable of improving water quality while eliminating the need for costly and hazardous chemicals. Prior to its sale MIOX was used over 500 EPA regulated drinking water systems in the U.S. and in over 30 countries world wide. In addition to drinking water MIOX was deployed by large corporations such as Intel, Hyatt, Goldman Sacs, Google and others to control biological contaminants in cooling towers and other industrial applications. Besides MIOX, Carlos has served as CEO and President of several VC backed technology companies including Nuvita, a technology company focused on health care and Qynergy an alternative energy company. Carlos started his career at Intel Corporation and was manufacturing manager of the world's largest and most complex semiconductor fab for several years. In addition to a career in technology Carlos is an active member of YPO and serves on several community and social enterprise boards. Carlos has a BSME from UNM and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
